Who we are
HOTSPOT ("we", "us") is a social sauna and cold plunge concept opening at Flagey, Brussels. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, including our founding-community waitlist and enquiry forms, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you join the founding community, we collect your first name and email address, plus, where available, basic technical details like the page you signed up from and referral source. When you send a private/corporate enquiry, we additionally collect your name, company (optional), email, group size, timing preferences, and any message you send us.
Why we collect it
To send you updates about HOTSPOT's opening, respond to enquiries, and understand interest ahead of launch. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for anything beyond communicating with you about HOTSPOT.
Legal basis
We process waitlist data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the consent box on our forms. We process enquiry data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep founding-community data until HOTSPOT opens and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Who sees it
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our hosting and forms provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. We don't share your data with any other third party.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time. Email us at hello@hotspot.brussels and we'll action it promptly. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
