HOTSPOT

Our Story

Why we're building HOTSPOT.

It started with a pattern, not a plan. Ask around Brussels and everyone has a version of the same complaint: the gyms are about performance, the spas are about silence, and nowhere in between is built for people who just want to do something a little intense, together, without turning it into a whole production.

Other cities have started figuring this out — social sauna culture has taken off across Northern Europe, built around guided Aufguss and shared cold plunge rather than solo treatments. Brussels, with its mix of neighbourhoods, languages and a genuine appetite for gathering, felt like exactly the kind of city that was missing one.

So we started building. Not a spa, because a spa is something you retreat into. Not a gym, because a gym is something you measure yourself against. HOTSPOT is meant to be a third space — somewhere between home and work — that happens to run on heat and cold instead of coffee or beer.

We're opening at Flagey because it's one of the most naturally social corners of the city. The rest — the exact room, the exact schedule, the exact everything — is still being built, in public, with the people who join the founding community along the way.
